Select the substrate
The substrate determines the belt type. Stainless steel needs dedicated stainless steel belts and a separate accelerator.
Select the surface profile grade
Select the profile depth required by your coating system.
How it works
Output: recommended tool, belt part numbers, suitability chart, and a printable PDF report.
1 · Standard of cleanliness
Choose the specification you are working to—ISO 8501-1 (Sa / St) or SSPC / AMPP. These lead to the same band selection.
2 · Substrate material
Carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum – steel straps for carbon steel, stainless straps for the others. Never mix them.
3 · Profile class
Select the anchor profile class required by your coating system; the selector will immediately provide the gauge and strip part numbers.
